Russian Adventures

Hello everyone!

I am sorry that lately I have been sending my e-mails at random times. The library with the computers that we go to each week--haven't been working. SO we are stuck to fend for ourselves and find somewhere to write. The only other available place is the ward building and there is only ONE computer and SIX missionaries that need to write home...so needless to say, it has been a little crazy for us.

Oh my goodness, what a week! I don't think I have ever worked so hard in my life. I don't think I have ever been so exhausted, but the exhaustion that I feel each day is so worth it because I am doing it all for my Father in Heaven. I had the great blessing of going on exchanges with my old trainer, Sister Young. Wow, we worked so hard. We had planned for 3 lessons and all of them fell through, but instead, Heavenly Father blessed us with 4 lessons on the street with people we had just met. We also set up appointments to meet with them again, AND gave out 4 Book of Mormons. We spent 8 hours just contacting on the street, but it was the funnest 8 hours of my life. By the end of the night, we were worn out and tired, but for some reason we couldn't erase the smiles on our faces. The Lord is truly pouring out blessings unto us as we have consecrated ourselves to this work and as we have sacrificed more and given our all. Our mission has seen leaps since we each missionary has really focused on how we could give more and more fully lose ourselves in the work. I am not perfect at it of course, but I have seen a huge difference in my attitude, my work, and the difference it makes to them as I solely focus on others and forget myself. As I have done this, I have grown. I know that the Lord is shaping me into someone better. I am so thankful for our Savior and his atonement because each day, I fall short of who I know I need to be. I am thankful for the strength that I receive from Him everyday and the peace that everything will be okay.

This week Loudmeala gets baptized! She is incredible and loves this gospel. Yesterday, she was helping me on a lesson with one of our investigators AND guess what, by the end of the lesson, our investigator, Katya asked when SHE could get baptized. We set a date for September 28th. She has a lot to learn and a lot of questions, but I am excited to see her progress as she puts her faith in our Heavenly Father.

I am running out of time, but know that I love each and everyone of you. I pray for you daily. I know that the Lord hears my prayers, just as He hears your prayers. You are loved SO incredibly much. Please never forget that!
I love you. Have a fun week of school! Mom and dad, try not to work too hard :).

Your favorite missionary!
